Internal Sales Executive

Are you an enthusiastic and influential sales professional with a passion for sports turf and lawncare? The Pitchmark Group is looking for a dynamic Internal Sales Executive to join our team in Bristol. You’ll play a key role in growing our business, focusing on both B2B and B2C sales through our e-commerce and telesales channels.
With access to a 5,000-strong customer database, you’ll identify and develop new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and oversee the entire customer journey. Additionally, you'll leverage email marketing, outbound calls, and work closely with our in-house marketing department. You will prioritise proactively engaging with customers and convert leads into sales, all while enjoying a fun and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential B2B and B2C customers, using our extensive database to expand The Pitchmark Group's client base in the sports turf and lawncare sectors.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring all opportunities are nurtured and progressed through each stage, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Customer Journey Oversight: Oversee the customer journey across B2B and B2C channels, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to client by delivering a personalised and professional experience.
- Lead Conversion: Be the primary point of contact for inbound inquiries, converting leads into successful sales through exceptional communication, both online and offline.
- Outbound Communication: Actively reach out to potential customers through outbound calls and emails to drive sales and build lasting relationships.
- E-Commerce Engagement: Working alongside our Marketing team, boost B2C sales via our e-commerce channels by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sales Support, Marketing and Commercial Teams to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Revenue Growth: Contribute significantly to the company’s revenue goals by securing new business and enhancing customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- CRM & Database Management: Ensure all digital platforms are kept live with concise notes and contact information.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years proven experience in a sales role, particularly in managing sales pipelines within both B2B and B2C environments.
- Enthusiastic, influential, and self-motivated, with a strong drive to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships through calls and emails.
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and oversee the customer journey across various channels.
- Experience in or passion for the sports turf and lawncare industries, as well as e-commerce platforms, would be a significant advantage.
