Bag-in-Box Paint Packaging

In a significant step towards reducing environmental impact, Turfix and Pitchmark are proud to unveil their new eco-friendly bag-in-box packaging solution.

A Sustainable Future: Less Plastic, Lower Emissions

At the heart of this initiative is a significant reduction in packaging materials. The ‘bag-in-box’ solution uses up to 90% less plastic than traditional plastic drums, delivering a substantial reduction in plastic waste. In addition, the eco-friendly design achieves an 80% reduction in CO₂ emissions during transport alongside an 89% reduction in CO₂ emissions during production.

These improvements do not just benefit the environment. They also offer tangible advantages to our customers. With significantly less plastic to dispose of, customers can expect reductions in both waste and disposal fees, eliminating the need to store bulky plastic drums awaiting collection.

How Does It Work?

As the name suggests, the paint is contained in a durable, eco-conscious bag housed within a fully recyclable cardboard box. This simple yet highly efficient design is a more sustainable alternative to the conventional plastic drums that have been industry standard for years.

75% Less Shipping Space

One truck can carry 5,280 drums, which equates to 24 pallets, whereas 6,000 empty bags would only occupy 2 pallets.

100% Recyclable Packaging

The outer packaging is 100% recyclable, helping you avoid rising waste fees and reducing the need to store bulky plastic containers at your facilities.

90% Less Plastic

Each bag-in-box solution uses 90% less plastic than traditional industry-standard jerrycan containers.
